In 2013, I received the Grand Prize in the Photo Story Category of the Digital Camera Magazine Photo Contest (Japan). The awarded series, photographed in Utah, depicts the quiet resilience of life in subzero temperature. A horse standing against a frozen, mist-shrouded landscape. The images capture the delicate poetry of winter. Breath crystallizing in the cold, light dissolving into fog, and the quiet endurance of nature.

Through this work, I aimed to explore the tension between fragility and strength, silence and presence, finding beauty in a frozen subzero world.
